Draftsman Terms of Service and License Agreement

Introduction

This document outlines the Terms of Service and License Agreement for Draftsman, a visual graphing and development tool for Laravel applications. By using Draftsman, you agree to these terms. If you're entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these terms.

License Grant

Draftsman grants you an ongoing, non-exclusive license to use the Draftsman application based on your active subscription plan. Licenses remain valid for as long as your subscription is active.

Draftsman Project

This plan grants permission to use Draftsman with a single project.

You can:

  • Use Draftsman to visualize and work on one project.
  • Use Draftsman on a project you are building for a Client.
  • Use Draftsman on a project that is sold to End Users.
  • Receive updates for as long as your subscription is active.

You cannot:

  • Use Draftsman with multiple projects under a single Project plan.
  • Share your account or license key with any other individuals.
  • Redistribute Draftsman or provide access to Draftsman to third parties.
  • Use Draftsman to create a product that directly replicates the core functionality of Draftsman.

Draftsman Unlimited

This plan grants permission to use Draftsman with unlimited projects.

You can:

  • Use Draftsman to visualize and work on unlimited projects.
  • Use Draftsman on unlimited projects for unlimited Clients.
  • Use Draftsman on projects that are sold to End Users.
  • Receive updates for as long as your subscription is active.

You cannot:

  • Share your account or license key with any other individuals.
  • Redistribute Draftsman or provide access to Draftsman to third parties.
  • Use Draftsman to create a product that directly replicates the core functionality of Draftsman.

Draftsman for Teams

The Teams plans grant permission for a set number of seats within an organization to access and use Draftsman. Each tier includes a maximum number of seats: Tiny (5), Small (10), Medium (25), Large (50), and Xtra Large (100).

Key points of the Teams plans:

  • Number of Users: The plan permits use by up to the number of seats included in your tier.
  • Eligible Users: Seats cover all types of team members within the organization, including full-time, part-time, and freelance workers.
  • Projects: Teams plans include unlimited projects.
  • Updates: Your team receives updates for as long as the subscription is active.

You can:

  • Use Draftsman on unlimited projects.
  • Use Draftsman on unlimited projects for unlimited Clients.
  • Use Draftsman on projects that are sold to End Users.
  • Share access to Draftsman among team members, up to your tier's seat limit.

You cannot:

  • Exceed the seat limit included in your tier.
  • Share access with individuals or entities outside your organization.
  • Redistribute Draftsman or provide access to Draftsman to third parties.
  • Use Draftsman to create a product that directly replicates the core functionality of Draftsman.

Definitions

  • Licensee: The individual or entity that holds an active Draftsman subscription.
  • Project: A distinct application or codebase that Draftsman is used with.
  • End User: A user of a project built by the Licensee.
  • Client: An individual or entity receiving custom professional services directly from the Licensee.

Examples of Allowed Usage

  • Using Draftsman while building a personal or company application.
  • Using Draftsman while building a web application for a client.
  • Using Draftsman while developing a commercial SaaS application.
  • Using Draftsman within a team, up to your plan's seat limit.

Examples of Prohibited Usage

  • Sharing a single account or license key across multiple people or organizations.
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing Draftsman or access to it.
  • Building a competing product that replicates Draftsman's core functionality.
  • Circumventing license validation or seat limits.

Trials

Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial — no credit card required. When the trial ends, continued use of Draftsman requires an active subscription.

Intellectual Property

Draftsman and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Draftsman Incorporated and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

Liability

Draftsman Incorporated's liability to you for costs, damages, or other losses arising from your use of Draftsman — including third-party claims against you — is limited to a refund of your subscription fees. Draftsman Incorporated may not be held liable for any consequential damages related to your use of Draftsman.

Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund policy. If you're unsatisfied with Draftsman for any reason, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. To initiate a refund, please contact us.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Legal proceedings related to this Agreement may only be brought in the courts of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes.
